Pediatric Nurses

Overview

We’re hiring experienced Pediatric Nurses (RNs) to help train and evaluate AI systems used in clinical and healthcare settings. This role is ideal for nurses who want to apply their frontline experience to improve the accuracy, safety, and reliability of medical AI tools.

You’ll work on projects that require deep clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to translate real-world pediatric care into structured feedback for AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated clinical outputs for pediatric scenarios
• Validate medical accuracy, safety, and adherence to clinical guidelines
• Annotate and structure pediatric patient cases for AI training datasets
• Provide expert feedback on diagnosis, treatment plans, and care recommendations
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in AI-generated responses
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve model performance
• Contribute to the development of high-quality clinical benchmarks

Basic Qualifications

• Active RN license (U.S.)
• 5+ years of pediatric nursing experience (hospital, PICU, NICU, or clinic)
• Strong understanding of pediatric care standards and protocols
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with evidence-based guidelines (AAP, CDC, etc.)
• Prior exposure to healthcare technology, informatics, or AI tools
• Experience reviewing or training clinical staff
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
